Now Hiring: Part-Time Pet Sitters in East Pierce County

Do you love all types of pets? We’re hiring exceptional pet sitters in East Pierce County looking for part-time work doing what they love. As part of the Kelly’s Creature Comforts team, you’ll work with an established, well-loved pet care company with high standards.

Pet Visits

For most pets, we do 1 – 3 visits per day for 3 – 14 days. During each visit, you’ll provide feeding, walking, plant watering, mail pickup, and other requested tasks/chores. Hours are typically flexible – perfect if you have a “day job” and want to supplement your income with pet sitting before or after work.

Days:  Sunday – Saturday

Visit times for dogs: generally between 6:30 – 8:30 am and 7:30 – 9:30 pm, with flexibility in most cases. Visits are typically 30 – 60 minutes each.

Visit times for cats: very flexible; usually once daily for 30 minutes

Pay rate: $15/hr (hours are based on visit length + 15 minutes). Pet sitters average of 1 – 4 15-minute visits/day in an established area; fewer if we are new to an area; more as you are with us longer and add clients.

Visitors needed in: Bonney Lake and Lake Tapps

Requirements for Dog and Cat Sitters

• You LOVE dogs and cats
• Reliable transportation
• Able to work for us for a minimum of six months. (The pets and their people will want to develop a long-term relationship with you!)
• Available for both morning and evening visits (see above for hours)
• You can work most major holidays. (Don’t worry, you’ll be paid more per visit on holidays and you will have plenty of time left to enjoy your holiday, too!)
• Able to pass a criminal/background check.
• Smart phone capable of running our Time to Pet application
